Topshop has returned to the UK high street through a new nationwide partnership with John Lewis, marking the brand’s first large-scale physical retail presence in recent years.
From this week, the fashion brand launches in 32 John Lewis stores, while Topman will debut in seven locations, with a focused range of menswear essentials.
In total, around 130 styles across womenswear, menswear and footwear will be available in-store.
Following strong footwear growth in AW25, John Lewis will also become the exclusive UK physical retailer for Topshop footwear for SS26.
The launch is being supported by a series of activations, including complimentary matcha served at a Topshop pop-up in front of John Lewis Oxford Street, alongside a branded “Topshop Times” newspaper.
“Today is about making it easier for customers to access the Topshop and Topman pieces they love,” said Topshop managing director Michelle Wilson.
“From our cult denim to new-season footwear, you can see it, feel it and take it home the same day. Partnering with John Lewis brings Topshop back to high streets across the UK with the level of service our customers expect.”
John Lewis managing director Peter Ruis added: “Topshop and Topman are brands with enormous cultural relevance, and their return to physical retail is something our customers are genuinely excited about.
“This partnership reflects our focus on bringing iconic names, strong style and compelling experiences into our stores.”
Last year, Topshop made its brick and mortar return with a launch in luxury department store Liberty, before in October featuring in four pop-ups in John Lewis stores across the country.

Good to see the return of Top Shop on a retail shop basis. Provided the service levels are commensurate with those that John Lewis provides then should be a synergy that blossoms. Otherwise issues will arise and could damage the John Lewis brand.
